Nigel Rogers
Nigel is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Fellow (and former Chairman) of the Association of Average Adjusters. With over 45 years' experience in marine claims, Nigel has dealt with all types of marine risks including shipyards, yachts, liabilities, cargo, loss of hire/business interruption as well as ocean-going hull, and he has also undertaken claims reviews, audits and expert witness work. He is a frequent lecturer, has served on various insurance market committees and is the co-author of A Guide to Marine Hull Insurance Claims.
Karen Bizon
Karen graduated with both a BA and LLM (majoring in insurance law) and spent many years in insurance-focused city law firms in both Sydney and London before taking up a position as In-house Counsel/Head of Liability Claims (Europe) for a major global insurer.
After several years she moved to Lloyd’s where, after overseeing the resolution of a large book of high value business in run off, she was appointed Controller of Agencies.
John MacDonald
With over 50 years' experience in average adjusting, John is also a Fellow of the Association of Average Adjusters and a former Chairman of the AAA. In addition he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
Harry Bennison
Harry is RWA's technical consultant and is unique inasmuch as his career of over 45 years in consultancy has been exclusively geared towards average adjusting, as a result of which his knowledge of our technical requirements is unrivalled.
